The Loan Closer duties include performing a variety of loan documentation on complex loans. Strong knowledge of policies and procedures for loan products is required. The Loan Closer must have a background in processing, closing, and interpreting policies while analyzing the applicant, property, and additional documentation. The Loan Closer will be responsible for ordering all verifications. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of loan documentation experience. Customer service skills are necessary to gather important information from potential clients as well as explain all loan decisions. Experience within the mortgage industry is preferred. Duties will include evaluating and ensuring compliance on all loan documents, reviewing financial documents(credit reports, bank statements, etc.), complete understanding of all applicable ratios, and knowledge of centralized scoring systems as well as ability to perform conventional underwriting. Must have 2-3 yrs processing experience with Government products. Mortgage processing experience is a must. Must have current experience with underwriting government loans. Must have at least 1-2 years of mortgage closing experience in the mortgage industry. Experience in either retail or wholesale mortgage setting is required. Looking for professionals with a strong collections or customer service background. This is a sensitive collection due to dealing with Prime borrowers who have not been in this situation before. Hours are 5:30 - 9:30.
